This painting is my take on bringing this vintage DC postcard into the 21st century. By adding bright colors in acrylic paint and painting into the postcard image itself, I hope to bring a fresh take while maintaining that vintage feel.
Original postcard is labeled "House of the Temple (Scottish Rite), Washington, D.C. Postcard was sent and stamped in September of 1929.
